Honestly I do not think it will be difficult for you to get into college. They may require you to take some refresher/remedial courses if you don't meet the mathematical standards for college level algebra. But there is nothing wrong with that. I had to take a couple of basic math courses before I could take my college level math and I am now working on my second master's degree and working at a prestigious university as a Career Counselor. So don't worry, you will get in. Just apply to several different colleges that are of interest to you to keep your options open. Good luck to you!

I think it depends on where you want to go... but generally, one failed class is not that big of a deal. As long as you do alot better and show a GREAT improvement on your grades, then that failed class will not matter as much. To compensate for that bad grade you may want to take more challenging classes and if possible, re-take that class again. Plus, grades are not the only things that colleges look at. They will look at your extra-curricular activities and volunteer worl, and things like that. Good universities look for students that took classes beyond the minimum, and since Math is a major subject, it may cause you some setbacks - BUT it still depends on other factors. State and Private Universities may not be as particular so you still have a very good chance since you said you are doing well in the rest of your courses.

Good luck!

Write your enterance essay on you and math not seeing eye to eye, studying and putting the best effort, and such.

Then, make sure you go into a non-mathmatical field.
You may have to drop your standards a touch having a failed class, but you should still be able to go to a decent 4 year.

Yes it will. I suggest you take correspondence courses. These days it is diffcult to get in if you don't have at LEAST pre-calculus, and Calculus is preferred.
