went out fri my man got into a spat with a fool who was banging on my window,i got taken in for dui, and i hardly ever drink but that night i was having a good time, i was sitting in the car with the engine off!! waiting for him, how can I beat this ****?? I have a good driving record and never been arrest for dui.

All depends on what state your in... As long as your in the front seat w/ keys in hand, motor running or not / keys in the egnition or not. Your going to need a lawyer to fight this one most definately... Did you blow or give blood... That is a big thing..... If not or you did is a big big thing.... If you didn't they cant really prove a damn thing..... Ya loose your license for a small small time, but you can always drive for work purposes...
You could have been sleeping in the front seat cause you were drunk... even w/ the keys in your pocket.... could have even told them that you knew you were drunk, but too drunk to drive and sleeping it off because you were a responsible person and they still could have nabbed ya.

If you were in the car and the keys were in the ignition the police assumed you were going to drive. You need to get a lawyer. A DUI can be costly
