Not only Egyptians, but also Vedaic Indians and Chinese were highly developed as we can see many modern theories were known to the ancient 'big three' and the Mayans of Guatemala and there were many reasons for this like-
> trade connections via silk road and sea routes between red sea, Indian peninsula, SE Asia, central America and china.
> having possession of secret revelations like the 'Vedas'
> expertise in : science(intelligence); sculpture, literature, painting, etc. (creativity); and wizardry(e.s.p.)
> had a managed society with no discrimination(except for pharaohs or knowledgeable rishis)

I heard somewhere recently that the Egyptian civilization (you know, pharaohs and stuff) didn't just spring up like most thought. They actually came from another civilization in NE Africa that almost no one knew about. That explains why They started our so advanced, but everything else? I've also heard about an empty pot found in a tomb made of clay that had hole in both the top and bottom. Archaeologists wondered what it was, so they ran tests to find out what it contained. It contained vinegar and some kind of metal, I forget what kind. When they tested it, they found it was an electrical battery. That isn't the only funny thing about ancient civilizations. The Mayans have on a temple a picture of an elephant. Elephants are from Africa. The Mayans were in Mexico. The painting predated the first Eurasian/African contact by hundreds of years. I think there is much about the past we won't ever fully understand.

Well there could be several reasons
I believe that it was Alien intervention - they surly had support from intelligent life forms from other planets (Which may be the beginning of the concept of God and Mysteries)
the other is that actually they were quite intelligent and since they had no interference from religions (their religion was very much free thinking) like Christianity that blocked free thinking, they managed to invent ways of doing it.
You find in Cambodia, India, and some other countries that were not interfered by non free thinking religions, some what similar architecture - Surprising at times about the engineering marvels they did.
But Egypt is far ahead of others - so I still think that it is Alien Support.

No...you have misunderstood the whole concept. They were only advanced compared to others in the area of Egypt. There have been many and other "advanced" civilizations.
None of the advanced societies were advanced in all areas. sort of "civilization savant" -- they were very advanced in ONE area.
As to the "aircraft" protrayed in hyroglyphics -- sometimes things are just decoration and only in hindsight does it look like something resembling an airplane. It is not reasonable to think that a civilization 3000 years ago would design an airplane that looked like airplanes designed today. If they DID design an airplane it would probably not resemble an airplane from today.

There are a few reasons that others have only touched on. First was the Nile River and its regular flooding. The people depended on that to make their land fertile. (Otherwise it was desert.) They had to pay careful attention to the cycles of the Nile. That leads to developing math.
Next, they were a unified people under the pharaoh, considered a god. Since pharaoh was an absolute ruler who wanted large monuments built (pyramids, etc.), he needed a workforce. But workers had to be fed by others. That leads to division of labor -- construction workers, farmers, cooks, etc.
And then they also needed an educated elite to run things.
Put all this together, and you get ancient Egypt.

Don't believe the "Alien" nonsense. There were no aircraft. Everything you see now was MAN MADE. The reason it is so amazing is simply because the men who worked on the stones were the BEST at what they did and honestly, what else are they gonna do in that time period? These people were dedicated to their Pharoah and they worked HARD way back when to please him. The reason it all seems so amazing today is because we are not as hard of workers as they were, PLUS we want to be paid for our work... and we look forward to getting off work and going home to our cozy homes. They did not have such luxuries... therefore they becamemasters at what they did. IMHO.

in the times you are talking about, the basic work of humans was to struggle against the elements and try and stay alive..
In egypt, nature took care of that all. Water in plenty from the nile, fertile river basins meant a good crop and plenty of animals to kill from the dense jungles around. once humans got over the basic worry of protection and security, you could say that life was good... kinda like in the developed countries today.
with all that taken care of, egyptians had plenty of time on their hands to use their brains, do experiments and look for better things in life.. there's no doubt that humans are very intelligent and advanced species so one thing led to the other and science advanced as the civilization grew...
the reason for it not being so very advanced now is all political in nature..

there are many stories concerning the Egyptians advances in the past. It was said that other creatures from space helped them and there are some pictures in tombs about space creatures who came and died in Egypt. Those creatures wore like space suits and the Egyptian writer "Anis Mansour" wrote about them. Others say that the ancient Egyptians used spiritual powers to help them as magic was common at that time.

Humans are amazingly intelligent creatures....and thats really what it is. You think that ancient Egyptians weren't as smart as us now? PLEASE! Obviously if they had the archutectual skills that we cant even imitate, they must have been well advanced in sciences and math and engeneering. Just cause they didnt have cars or rockets means nothing. They and every other world power after them all made more and more advancments in life, til here we are now sending robots to Mars... their accomplishments are inspirational to a degree.

I agree with you that the Egyptian civilisation was quite advanced. I have to disappoint you about the airplane though. The only things flying in hieroglyphic script are birds. You can always check the list of hieroglyphs found on: http://213.132.220.88/CCER/apps/hiero/hiero.html
