I'm a Phils' fan, and he's been a bit of a bright spot for us, especially as he really battled to reach the major leagues at age 33! You have to feel good for a guy like that, and he's played and hit well in somewhat limited "pt".

Here are his stats, and bio...

Is he a good guy?

Fargo ND, home of "The Fargo Flash" A pretty good HS football player who went on to have a career of some note in ML baseball...

I had to look your friend Chris up on MLB.com , it looks like he was called up for the first time in his career the end of May..He didn't get a whole lot of playing time in May or June but in July he has been playing more, and playing well...Chris Coste is hitting 343 with 3HR and 15RBI's in 70AB...And he has thrown out 5 out of 13 runners attempting to steal, which is pretty good...And like someone above said, he did hit a HR Monday night...

He's doing good...he hit a home run either sunday or monday, I work for the Phillies and we just had a long homestand, 12 games in 11 days, so the games are pretty much running together. He should play more than Liberthal (who sucks!)!
