Certainly in the caves!
Most early dances were tied to some kind of ritual -- dancing around the fire creates lot's of shadows like calling to the gods.

And, throughout time, women have danced for men. Many traditional dances (like in Bali and Java style dances) feature much hip swinging and eyes shifting to entice the men. Belly Dancing as well!

Tribal rhythms of every culture create a community of shared energy -- from Native American to the Rave scene.

Most of the dances in High Society were just knock-offs of the peasant dancing, just stylized.

The only specific answer I can think of is the first Modern Dance and that's Isadora Duncan kicking off her shoes and taking off her corset and dancing across Europe to Russia.

And the Lindy Hop (eventually called the Jitterbug) can be traced to Harlem in NYC.
