He was drinking while drunk. He is lucky the police picked him up before he killed someone. He told the police he would get even with them, that he was so important that he could get away with drunken driving. Then he blamed the Jews because he got picked up driving drunk. He could have taken a cab. He didn't care, he thought he was above the law.

The fact that many belive the Passion was anti-semetic and his arguing claiming it was not only intensifies the reaction.

He projects himself as a very loving, christian, family oriented man. He has like 7 children, I believe. This was his THIRD stop....first two he was let off, even with suspicion of poss alcohol influence. He's painting himself "black" as you put it.
