I own a Prius, I'm looking for features that are not obvious. Can you help?

Well, what options did you find listed on your window sticker?

Hm, there's a lot different... and a lot that is just like any other automobile.

Same old steel body, same oil changes as every other car, same visits to the gasoline station (just not as often) as every other car. My mother loves hers, and you don't really need to know anything about it to drive it...

But, you have a roomy midsize car, with best in class fuel economy and SULEV or AT-PZEV emissions.

And there's 2 electric motors, MG1 and MG2, btw...

electrically-driven AC (so the engine isn't required to run if you need to use the AC pump) on the 2004-current Prius (NHW20).

high strength tensile steel (for rigidity in body members and weight savings) and an aluminum hood and rear hatch (for weight savings).

one of the first use of Toyota eco-plastics (plastics made from plants, not from petroleum).

vvti engine on an Atkinson-Miller cycle (instead of the usual Otto cycle).

eCVT (planetary gearset for transmission, not your traditional cone-and-belt CVT)

pushbutton start

available Smart Entry and Smart Start

first use of Toyota's Intellegent Parking Assist (originally only available on Prius in Japan, but was introduced to UK/Europe for the 2006 model year.) You set up the screen and control the brake, and the Prius will reverse and park itself (great for parallel parking).

eligible for single-occupant HOV lane access in some states, tax credits or deductions or reduced sales tax in some states or federally, reduced highway/bridge tolls in some states, etc.

Is there anything specific that you were looking for information about it? If so, I'd suggest:

Its an ugly car that rides like crap and costs a lot of money. It gets good gas mileage and you can ride alone in the California carpool lanes. That alone makes it woth it depending on where you live and work.
