HELLO FUCT. hmm.. you got an interesting name.

Anyway, it seems to me that you are on a crossroads. Freaking out what to do where to go. Well, you are not alone to begin with. That's means, you're normal...

What you can do is to relax, okay? Then try to see yourself 5 years from now. Will you be a mighty soldier or a professional? It is better to talk this over your parents, relatives, and of course your school counsellor. They will definitely give you sound advice. After this, and still you are confused, then just FOLLOW WHAT YOUR HEART IS TELLING YOU. And move on.

All the best.

I have a college degree and military experience.

As long as you take the SAT and start applying to colleges by January, you should be fine. If you want to go to a state university, you have even more time.

Before considering joining the military, you should CLOSELY examine your reasons for doing so. College money is not a good reason. The military life is very regimented and your job is ultimately to kill people you probably don't have a personal beef with.

I'd pick college over the military any day. You can always change your mind later. But it might not work the other way, especially if you die serving the government. Besides, with college credits you could get more rank if you decide to join later.

You have plenty of time. If you were on the last semester of school, then I'd start worrying. Take your time and start right now, unless you have been seriously thinking of going into the military. If you want to put school off, there is nothing wrong with that. I tried college right out of high school, but wasn't ready. I went into the Marine Corps at age 22, and was the best decision ever. The only advice I have, is If you are not willing to put effort into college, don't waste your time. Military is the best route. If you are willing to study and do well, you won't have any trouble getting scholarships and schedule your Sat's after x-mas. Good luck in whatever it is you decide to do!

I have been a military wife for 15 years. God bless our soldiers! But if you were my child i would point out a few things before you decide.

Are you ready to die for your country? I am not joking and it is an actual fact. You fight, you kill, you die. Cruel, but honestly true. Uncle Sam puts the new guys on the front line, why waste good soldiers with years of training when the new ones are available to use as a shield? Not a joke, take some time thinking about it.

Do you plan to get married soon? It is true, if the military wanted you to have a family they would have issued you one when you enlisted. Out of 15 years, i have been apart from my spouse for almost 9 of them. Hard to keep a family like that.

Are you a leader or a follower? Two kinds of people son, leaders and followers. If you are a leader, go to college and enlist as an officer, if you are a follower then enlist. My opinion, the "followers" are the ones with the guts and balls to back them up. Nothing wrong with a good leader though to guide those men.

Chief in command is the U.S. President. He is the head of your chain of command. Did you vote? did you vote for him?

How many sons does your mother have? If only you, please dear one, stay home my love.

Good benefits, but check into them. Not like it used to be.
I'd love it if you wrote me back when you decided.

You should think about what you want to do with your life. Some colleges don't required SAT and you could always go to school in the spring. As for the military, that's cool if you want to join, but remember we are in major conflicts and you would most likely get sent over there.

Ask your counselor soon, don't waste time and delay the inevitable. If you do like the idea of a military career, then fine, so be it.
