WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM amount of time?

you are allowed to probate a will. my father died over a year ago and my brother still has not probated his will

to have a will probated in California.
My father died over a year ago and my brother still has not had my fathers will probated?????

It's according to the state that you live in. I just Im'd you, asking that question. if you want, i can look it up for you, or you can ask your lawyer, which i do recommend.

that is something you need to ask a lawyer. I would suggest seeing you dad's lawyer if you can.
