My neighbor insisted on helping me cut a board with his new handsaw, and almost cut my thumb off (3/4, and dangling)
it wasn't so bad when it happened, but a couple of days later, it was hurting 24/7 nonstop, like a throbbing, burning awful thing.
I also had a kidney stone once that dropped me. I had to crawl like a snake to my Friends house to go to the hospital
and once I was snapped in the eye with a wet dish towel,oh, damn that hurt BAD. And one time i was walking through the woods, and a twig on a tree branch went right into my ear and peirced my ear drum, That dropped me also! One other time I was riding my motorcycle and hit a peice of a big cardboard box and flew off the bike and skidded down the driveway and skinned a lot of the skin off of my arms. That got even worse after it started to heal, too. Big, giant scabs on my forearms, all the way to the bone! All these things are true, and lots of others I'll save for some other question. Lots of pain in my life!

I got hit by a car but thank God I am OK. But I cannot forget that feeling. There are 2 questions that I had in mind:
1. When am I going to fall down?
2. When I was lying down I asked myself : Can I move? Can I stand up?

After I saw that I could do that I was very happy and I understood how little we are. We feel powerful sometimes but we are nothing.

when I was about 7 I fell throught some bleacher at a soccer game and hit my head on a support beam, blood everywhere, and got about 13 stitches, but I rember going to the car and hearing the ice cream truck and it's bells and my dad said I shouldn't ask for any since he wouldn't buy me any, thathurt my feelings, other than that gettin my stitches taken out hurt worse than anything else.

Playing in-line hockey, sliding on a grease spot and having my patella dislocate and move to the side of my leg. That hurt pretty bad, but I consider myself very lucky. There are far worse things that happen to people every minute of every day. if that's the worst for me, I am going to be very happy.

well...that would prolly have to be when i was running with my eyes closed(i was 5 at the time) and there was a low tree branch on a tree and i hit it. it broke off and stuck in my head right on my left eyebrow. my sister picked me up we she ran me in the house. and when you cant think things can get worse they did. my mom was in the kitchen cooking dinner and talking to my aunt. my sister told her i was hurt and needed to go to the hospital, my mom didnt even look at me b/c she figured i had a little scrape because my sister is a hypocondriac it took like 10 minutes before my mom saw me and relized i needed to get stiches. we all (me my mom my sister and brohter) got in her car and went to the hospital it took almost an hour before they saw me. then they had to call in a plastic surgeon b/c they didnt want to attempt to remove it or stich it b/c of how close to my eye it was. long story short they shaved my one eyebrow off put 12 shots in my forehead, put 17 stiches in it and now i have this story.

these were all a long time ago: getting my tooth pulled without anesthetics; getting my hand run over by a biker; trying to skip a bar with both hands on the monkey bars, missing and falling on my head/neck
