Which actors would've been better to play the main characters in the Miami Vice movie?

In the Miami Vice movie, the characters looked ghetto than sharp dressed. There was some miscast in the movie and it doesn't make since which ties to the original. I think Paul Walker and Terrance Howard would've make a good Crockett and Tubbs in the movie. I heard the movie was pretty violent, which earned an "R" rating. So what's your opinion about the Miami Vice movie and how would've been approved for it to become a blockbuster?

Well I would not change the casting of Jaime Foxx. I think he was a good choice. I have not seen it yet, but Colin Farrell may be good... However, I can think of a few actors who could have handled that role. For Example: Paul Walker would be good as crockett, or maybe even somebody like matthew Mcconehey.

Haven't seen it yet but a friend said the sex scenes earned it it's R rating.

I can't think of who would have played a better Crockett but it could have been anyone besides Colin Farrell. That guy's a dork! Sonny Crockett never looked like a greasy drug dealer. Brad Pitt would have been a good Sonny, maybe.
