Who said this dear, india is in favour of 20-20 cricket and BCCI has given his permission to play these matches in india and hopefully we will be the first country to organise a 20-20 world cup very soon.

no country should ever be in the favor f 20-20...this game is very much against the spirit of cricket...it ruins the beauty of the game...moreover india also has a big problem of quality bowlers and 20 20 cricket dwindles the bolwres' confidence which is the last thing that india would want

To argue against Twenty 20 cricket is a bit futile, now that the BCCI has been forced to agree to participate in the world championship in South Africa next year. From the board’s point of view, the only thing to do is to prepare its team well for the tournament. Of course, the financial whiz kids can also think of various ways of milking money from the new slap-dash format.

Might because of not having trusted Bowlers. India has got good bowlers, but when compared to world standard. Every team has got at least one consistent bowler who can turn down the match to their side. The condition in India is horrible, Pathan may do well two matches and give way in one. Sreeshanth, R. P. Singh are good but inexperienced. I think you know the importance of seamers in 20-20, as spinners can br easily blown away by batsmen, it is the fast bowlers to be trusted. But, when Zaheer & Nehra were out, on whom can we trust!

It is simple the BCCI is worried as it's main source of income is the television advertising during oDI's. If 20/20 becomes too popular, the ammount of time to advertise during games will be drastically reduced, thus losing them a great deal of revenue.
