it depends on the type of relationship you are in. if you are just casual friends... you should not divulge everything. if you are into an affair... certain things like daily routine, friends etc need to be shared. but if you have been married.... i think there should not be anything left to hide coz it will destruct the relationship in the long run.

Well there are some things that a girl should just keep to herself. That is one of the fun things in a relationship. However, if it is something troubling, like someone is harrasing you, then you should share it with your partner. So yes, a girl has the right to keep or share whatever she wants.

I believe that there should be a certain level of privacy remaining even in marriage.I mean there isn't in mine because my husband is nosy but i believe that there should be. I mean if you want to tell him everything go for it but i personally have feelings that i do not want to share with him. things that i may think or feel just for a moment. things that if i told him i would regret later. I feel that it's better to hold it back or tell Friend than to let him in on it and hurt him or make him mad.

If I trust myself and know myself, I would share my thoughts, feelings with the person that I am with. It's a risk I know. Being open to someone takes alot of courage which defines a persons integrity. I believe in honesty because I know when I am honest I feel freer from within. Try it.

I think there are always some things that can be held back, but if you are willing to be in a relationship with someone you should also be willing to open up to them and say things that you wouldn't normally say to anyone else.

Honestly? It depends on the person.

Some people feel comfortable sharing every single thing about themselves and what they think with their partner, other's don't. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, you shouldn't. But if you do feel comfortable and like you should, go ahead. If there's something you don't feel like sharing, you shouldn't have to.

You can be as open as you want with your partner. Share as much as you're comfortable sharing, and don't expect or demand more than that from your partner.

As an individual human being, we have the right to have our own unshared thoughts, feelings, experiences, etc.

The question is, "Is what I am keeping from him fair?" Is it your business truly, or SHOULD IT be his also? If the answer is it is not his business, no problem. You have the right. But I am wondering if you are being honest with yourself. If this is something that he SHOULD no, you are being unfair.

It's up to you. The other person doesn't have to know everything about you. Just don't lie. A hurtful honest answer is better than a lie.
