some icons like MSN messenger keep coming back everytime i restart my computer ....

Click on Start, then Run, then type the word msconfig, Enter, then when you see the System Configuration Utility window, click on Startup, then uncheck which programs you want to disable on Startup. Click Apply, then click Ok. As soon as Windows reboots, there will be a window, make sure to uncheck it so that you won't see the System Configuration window when the next time. :)

ionly way i have found was to uninstall the program. my msn messenger and aim always took over my system and i never used them that much, so i just uninstalled the programs.

UNINSTALLING PROGRAM FOR GOOD OR MSCONFIG IN THE RUN TOOLBAR, THEN GO TO STARTUP TAB DESELECT MSN MESSENGER-MSNMNGR.EXE

Start>Run>MsConfig Im pretty sure thats it, then go to the programs you want to run at start up.

go to control pannel and add/remove program
uninstall msn
