I read a book about this and was wondering if anyone else has noticed that every season seems to be the worst ever recorded...earthquakes, heat waves, cold spells, droughts, on and on...is God trying to tell America something?

Like it or not, global warming is upon us. We're likely to see many more "worst years" in the near future.

For some years the earth has been growing hotter. There are several reason for this.
First is the growth in population and in the use of anything that can be burned for fuel. These two things interact and increase the ozone in the atmosphere, and reduce vegetation. (Which has a boomarang effect and reduces plant life and limits increases in the manufacture--or recombination- of oxygen, which otherwise would occur in plants.)
Secondly the increase in ozone and decrease in oxygen allows the atmosphere to hold more heat-- eg.the average temperature goes up and the polar ice caps are melting. (At one time there was glacial ice as far south as southern New York.)
Thirdly the earth, which spins like a top, also wobbles like one. Northern areas that used to get less sun now get more. In other words, the axis of the world's spin is no longer on a line with the North Star. This has happened before in the world,s history, and the axis of the world's spin probably will return on a line as before.
Ice ages have come and gone--. But we may have increased the number of people so much (A process that increased health and longer human life spans have helped happen.) and destroyed so much of the natural forest that the surviving vegatative mix blocks the reversal.
We are, to put it simply, turning the world into a desert. There are some other reasons too, but these are the ones most generally recognized.
God may be telling us something. But I think he gave us intelligence and free will, and if we are too lazy to use them He may be willing to let us suffer the results. Let us hope not.

the time to get worried is when we have a winter that seems like it never happened... spring comes early and the harvests are plentiful. why?
because that will be the year that if we haven't killed eachother already, the cataclysmic nature of this planet will express itself with volcanoes, earthquakes, etc. the like you have never seen before and you will be lucky to survive. many believe this will be due to the poles flipping (ie. the magnetic poles of the planet changing)
as we ae nearing a new astronomical age (the age of aquarius 2012), one can assume it will happen in the next 10 years.
are we responsible for this happening.... i think the human ego is out of control if it thinks it can be responsible for something so huge.

This year is quite mellow,so far.But getting you to watch or listen to something it must always be more violent or bigger or better than before.Life is very nice with its normal ups and downs, don't listen to the hype.Make up your own mind.
