I hate mice; can't stand the little buggers. My spouse 's fear is spiders; freaks out when watching them on T.V. One of my life goals is to get over all my irrational fears. Any suggestions?

Facing a fear builds courage. Courage builds character. Face your fear. Buy a snake and feed the little mice to it.
I was so afraid of heights that the physical effects of fear took control of me, and I could not function. I took up skydiving and now I can climb a ladder with confidence.

try going to the pet store and looking at them through glass. Maybe reasearch them on the internet to see that they aren't as scary as they seem to you. I hated them too until i got a gerbil and decided that they are soooo cute.

Learn more about them, then gradually begin to desensitize yourself to them. Look at pictures, then be in the same room with one, then gradually work up to actually holding and petting one.

You could try hypnosis. It works for other things, I would think it would work with your fear of mice.

I agree with you Those things are creepy!!!! I just look at them at the pet store and look at them then get creeped out!

go to the pet store and buy a mouse, keep it as a pet and you will begin to like them, but before you do that research them.
