uhhh...I dont know where the last poster got his warped sense of engine design, but 200 F is not the "limit" for temperature. Bikes and cars operate at a higher temperature and the fan on a bike usually wont kick on until about 210 degrees. You are in the correct range for your bike as long as radiator is filled with proper fluids and motor has proper lubricants.
If your bike got too hot, the engine management system would shut the bike down, after all your coolant has boiled out of the overflow of the radiator.

massive distinction between both motorcycles so that you choose to verify what you somewhat choose. A heavyish 100+bhp head down *** up missile or a thoroughly powered low cost to run commuter. decreasing calls for longer suspension dogbones (that may outcome the dealing with extremely or you may have the seat altered yet being so skinny there is not any longer a lot scope for this on a sportsbike seat. New dogbones are round £100 outfitted. The forks may choose dropping by the yokes extremely too to save the motorcycle aspect.

all modern engines operate between 180 and 200 degrees. anything over that can cause severe problems with cooling, including cracked blocks.
There are no engines designed to operate above 200 degrees since an engine built for that kind of heat would not fit together correctly when cool.

Engine has to get over 212degrees F so any water in oil can boil off (water is byproduct of combustion) you also get water vapour in the air which can condense in a cold engine (overnight)
Fan kicks in around 240~250F. Oil starts to break down around 270~300F. If fan isnt coming on dont worry, if it does, change oil more frequently than 3,000 miles (also if engine doesnt get hot, over 200F, change oil more frequently)

I have a gsxr 750 and I don't get worried until around 235 and above. Mine has never gone that high even in extreme temps outside and sitting in traffiic.
