when doing polyeurothane on wood... painting... staining wood...you can use them when you work on your car. you can use them when treating wounds of your kids....(if your a germ freak like my wife) anything that you do around the house that you don't want your hands to get dirty from. probably from dishes to yard work to sex I would guess...

I don't use latex gloves because I have a latex allergy, so I use vinyl ones.
I use them to plant in the garden, to clean around the house and to handle bananas (the latex allergy makes me deathly allergic to bananas and avocados - eating those foods could kill me, and handling either one can give me a rash on my hands and make them feel like they're burning).

cooking. making yummy chocolate truffles... icky hands if u don't. And once on halloween we filled them up with water and froze them then peeled off the glove put them in the punch bowl at our party... ice hands in the punch! lol
