Pressure is an applied force, distributed over a surface. Stress is the distributed force within a material. Both have units of force/area, commonly pounds per square inch (psi) or Newtons per square meter (Pascals, Pa).
Pressure loads are often due to a gas or liquid, and such loads are usually either uniform or gradient (e.g. liquid in a tank, pressure varies with depth). Stress within a material is distributed according to the geometry of the load and the structure, and is usually non-uniform. From an engineering perspective, it's important to keep the maximum stress below the tolerance of the material.

If you are talking about fluid dynamics, pressure is a type of fluid stress that acts at a 90 degree angle to a surface. Stress can also be of the shear variety, which acts in other directions tangential to a surface. Stresses in general are a measure of force transferred per unit area.
If you are talking about the terms as people use them to describe working too hard, then they are pretty much the same. In both cases, the term can have a good meaning if it encourages you to be more productive. However, they can both have a bad connotation if they cause you to break down.

The psychological and physical definitions are analogous.
Physical
-Pressure - Force per unit area being applied to an object by an external system.
-Stress - Internal reaction of the material within that object to resist pressure. (how the material deals with loading)
Generalization for solids in a static condition- pressure acts on the surface only. Stress acts within the material only. Fluids would add a bit of complexity with stresses within the fluid in addition to pressures. Motion of solids adds shear stresses at the surface.
Psychological
-Pressure - Force placed upon you by outside agents/events.
-Stress - Internal reaction. (how you deal with it)

Pressure and stress tend to run hand in hand. Pressure is when people are pushing you to do a bunch of things that you may not want to do, or don't have enough time to do. Stress is when there are a bunch of things going on in your life and you are having trouble getting everything accomplished, or don't want to.

Pressure is what causes stress. Large amounts of water are to a pinhole in the pool is as pressure is to stress.

Pressure is imposed on us by other people / thing son purpose.
Stress is the thing which is imposed on us by us.
example: we stop at Red light, we are pressurized to do it.
In Exams some students are in so much stress and some are relaxing.
Hope it help you a little bit.
