I agree with the second answer in that you have a yeast infection, or a yeast related problem. Vaginitis is another problem where you don't have as much of a discharge but more pain and burning, and itching, which, when you scratch it, only produces more pain and burning. You may or may not have an odor, but I have had both Vaginitis and yeast infections my whole life. Many girls get yeast infections right before their periods, but if it is a persistent problem all the time, or if it is simply unbearable when it does occur, I have some do's and dont's. DONT use baby powder, gold bond powder, or dry tissue on the area in concern. DO use wet towelettes for cleaning, and lotrimin, or vagisil is very handy while you are trying to treat your symptoms. Plain yogurt fresh from the fridge also is soothing, as well as contains acidophilus, key to controlling yeast overgrowth. DONT use douches. DO wear cotton or silk underwear, and no thongs until you are better. Nothing is worse than a urinary tract infection on top of it all, and nothing is more likely when you are wearing a thong and have yeast problems. DONT take antibiotics, even if your doctor prescribes them. If your doctor will prescribe nothing else, contact an herbalist who can do a better job in treating you. Antibiotics only weaken your system more and make it even more unable to fight back this "healthy" bacteria that has gotten out of control. The only thing worse than too much yeast is no yeast at all (everyone, even men, have yeast in their bodies). Make sure you are taking some kind of multivitamin the whole time to give your body wholesome, natural boosts to work correctly to get rebalanced. Eliminate all sugars and fats and most fruits (except apples) for one month. This includes simple carbs, nust, avocadoes, and oil. After one month, reintroduce fruit, but stay away from very fatty foods. Then reintroduce small levels of simple carbs, but generally staying away from refined carbs and sugar is a good idea. You can still get away with honey, molasses, and cane sugar and have your sweets. Be sure to eat high amounts of raw, fresh fruits and non-fibrous vegetables. After this, you will probably never have another problem again with your yeast. I haven't, and my last one was in the winter. Remember, a yeast infection is a symptom of a weakened immune system. Stay away from anything that depresses it's ability to fight on its own and definitely check to see what is truly at the root of the problem. Usually diet is the culprit, but sometimes a bigger issue is at stake.

take a warm bath, no bubbles, after your done put a rag or something in your underwear so you dont have to wear a tampon, call somewhere like walgreens and talk to a pharmacist, find out what they think would be best! and also try getting a new brand of tampons, or if you get the scented ones quit, because there know to give infections! good luck hun, hope it stops!

Lotrimen cream..... Go to the pharmacy and get the stuff for yeast infections... They have a cream that can be applied on the outside of your vaginal area that will help with itching.... Also, vagisil makes a anti itch cream.... I tend to have the same problem.... Make sure you are using tampons that are scent free... The prefumes reak havoc a woman's system...
