how come guys are less likley to date plus size women?

I won't say that you are wrong but may be you have come across only such guys who are less likley to date plus size women. However, I must point here that NOT all GUYS are the SAME.

Plus size usually equals less healthy, less able to enjoy an active life, more prone to insecurities about other women, more likely to raise unhealthy overweight children, harder to carry over the thresh-hold, more likely to eat the last slice of pizza. Less fun to show off to the world, more prone to rashes and skin problems, the list goes on and on.

If a guy gets to know a girl and he likes her as a person he might see past that other stuff, but as far as first impressions go, healthy is more appealing.

Very sad but true. Looks & being slim seem to be a deciding factor into making one appear attractive to the opposite sex.
I'm not sure if you've heard about this, but in a recent survey, men who're starved tend to be less judgmental toward heavier women as compared to men who're fed. Makes sense? Guess we'll have to wait to find out=)

It dates back to the western standard of beauty, we are taught that fit is easier on the eyes and better than plus size. Maybe because anything plus size is associated with unhealthy or maybe they are thin guys themselves and do not want a lot to handle. It all goes by a matter of preference. It's the long hair, light skin, light hair, thin nose, thin body standard of beauty that affects most of the population's view on who they want. It's human nature.

I know alot of guy that date and or married to plus sized women. They were taught that it is not what the person look sike on the outside it is whats on the inside and their personallity that counts.

i think it has to do with many factors , brain washing from adds , jokes , ext ..
but my own opinion it reflect there low self esteam , they like to show off a statue that will add a waoo from every one arrounds them (because we have to admit the brain wash is universal )
i think guys realy look at wamen as they look at there cars superfecialy , what matteres is the waoo they get and envies look from there peers ...
i talked about this with some freinds of mien and amazingly they think that if they date an x size woman they take alot of jokes and underestimation from there peers ...! as if they must be despreat to go out with a plus size woman ...
but cheer up not all men have such a low self esteam ... i met alot of men whom are only attracted to plus size women , small sized men surprisingly enough feel more comfortabel with plus size women !

I have no problem with plus size women as long as they are shapely. By shapely, I mean well proportioned. You know, not all flabby and droopy in the wrong places. Plus size women who are shapely are very desirable as far as I'm concerned.

I Dont think that all that true cuz my aunts are a little chuby nad guys are always tryin to find ways to be with them....and i think its stupid that guys have to have like the perfect woman..theres no such thing....most plus size woman are very beautiful
