most of my guy friends like the girls who are popular and cheer. does it rlly matter if a grl is popular or not?

the girls are popular cause they're cute. that's why the guys always like them.

Usually guys who go with the popular crowd are mostly trying to raise their status as well.
It's the easiest way to grab attention when you're dating the most popular person at school. It gives you some credibility I guess.
Also, popular girls are normally unattainable generally, that probably poses as a challenge to these guys, maybe making these girls attractive.
Overall, it does help to appear mysterious & let the guys do the work to really know if they are truly into you, though there's a risk there. Don't play TOO hard to get that the guy gives up altogether & think you're just not worth it!

Some guys like popular girls. Some, like me, do not care either way. No, it does not matter to every guy, and sometimes the ones who like popular girls only because they want to be seen as cool. I think the reason guys like cheerleaders is not just because they tend to be pretty or popular. For me, I like them because most of them tend to be friendly and be out-going, fun types just to be with. And being pretty is just a bonus.

Popularity, a lot of them tend to look nice and ooze sex appeal in their dances. I was once a cheerleader, but I feel a lot of guys liked us because a lot of girls on my team were easy and well...you know, cheerleaders have that reputation. Probably that reason too.

Because they wear short skirts and kick their legs up in the air. ??? I don't know, maybe it's the whole popularity thing. Guys that like girls just because they are popular are not worth your time, if you're thinking about dating them.

Because 325 pound Fullbacks just aren't the fashion plates the cheerleaders are (even Gay guys turn up their noses at them).

i have seen lots of cheerleaders i dont like... i played a sport every season of high school, and i found the cheerleaders annoying... but it was good eye candy, i digress, its about the indivdual girl not weather shes a cheer leader or not.

Because we can usually see under their skirts when they hop around. Doesn't matter if they're popular or not. All that matters is if she's hot, has nice legs, and transparent panties.

i really dont think it should but i guess a guy wants to go out with a girl that everyone else knows and is in the spot light. i think its just they get more time for other people to notice them
