If you're in the right place at the right time you get hired for the job that some little cubicle resident has slaved two years to get. Here's a serious answer.

You're actually successful right now. You might not be successful at every thing, but the mere fact that you can get out of bed shows that you're at least successful at something.

So although hard work is necessary for some success, it's really more that harder work leads to MORE success.
