I have always played yahoo games with this brower but all of a sudden it doesn't work.

Ummm, if it does not allow pop ups, then you do NOT, in fact, have all the right things enabled.
Firewall, internet security settings, and maybe check you add-in settings.

hi, perhaps there are something wrong with your IE.
i recommand you to use firefox. firefox is more safe than IE.
firefox can edit which site/popup to block and unblock.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

check for popup blocker in the tools menu
If it says turn off popup blocker, then click it
secondly, check if you have tool bars of yahoo, msn, google etc, if yes disable them or check if they are the ones blocking your popups

U also don't allow them to pop.
