No, I don't think so. It would seem that it might become too easily relied upon and abused that way and girls who are too young to know what they are doing would cause themselves injury. Makes you think, though. Good question.

Yes I think it should be ..
I tell u my story , I had an accident with this guy that i was dating for 3 months ( condom borke ) and then it was a 3 days holiday and the only clinc that was offeing the pills for free was closed and I didnt have 100 dollars to pay for the pill . Eventually I got the pills after the holiday and crossed my fingers for the best and it worked ( it usually dosent after 48 hrs ) and the asshole i was dating disappeared because he thought I am bearing his child. I dont think he deserved to be a father and I wasnt ready to be a Mom . I think that was a very right choice and much better than abortion ... Women should have a choice because most of thoes f.... run away as soon as something goes wrong

Yes, it would cut back on the number of abortions, and the wait at emergency rooms and clinics. My daughter is a nurse at an urgent care clinic, and she says they get 2 or 3 girls in every day wanting the morning after pill., so that's 45 minutes to an hour of the staff's time EVERY DAY they could be spending on sick people instead of stupid girls who didn't use birth control

I think safe pills should be allowed to the public without a prescription because it can help combat overpopulation.
Once a sperm gets into an egg, all that is needed is time and nutrition. But is that life?

I think so, yes. I know they say that it encourages unprotected sex, but I think that other things encourage that so much that this would be just a drop in the bucket. Oh, and the antiabortionists claim that in causing a fertilized egg to fail to implant, it kills a human being, but that is so incredibly silly that it shouldn't have any bearing on the issue.

The morning after pill has the same side effects as the regular pill, such as increased risk of blood clots, etc. Any medicine that can affect you in this way, i.e. cause a stroke, should be prescribed by a doctor. But hey, it's the FDA's call, and I trust 'em.

If a morning after pill is considered killing a human life, then every time I have a period, it's actually an abortion.

yes it should, but I think it should be given with a pharmacist's direction and not always a physician, they should be a regular customer of the pharmacy where drug interactions can be identified with the medication the patient is taking. If it was OTC like tylenol I think there would be too many problems, there are side effects to every drug and it is not necessarily deemed "completely safe"

Well I know it is available without a prescription where I live. I don't think women should use it as a form of birth control though.

I think it shouldnt because many girl wil take advantage of that and take it like everyday without using protection and be fearless of getting pregnant. It can really mess up there lady parts and they may not be able to have children EVER. it aint hard to get it all you have to do is go to your gyno and 1st get a pap and they give 1 to you for family planning but thats why we can take BIRTH CONTROL!
