it seems that your dreaming of things that you are scared of or something that bothers you but you can get away from. Your subconscious mind wants to tell you that there are fears that you need to face, even if you can escape them now sooner or later they will come back to haunt you unless you overcome these fears.

Depending on who you listen to, dreams could be nothing more than the body's response to a particularly spicy meal, job/life stress, some medication interactions, or something going on around you (radio playing music, scary movie on tv, etc.).

Dreams also have the POTENTIAL of warning you about the future, confirming a decision being faced, or to punish for actions made in the past. It is also a strongly held belief in Judeo-Christian circles that dreams are the means by which angels (both good and bad) communicate with, suggest, or torment us.

Anyway, I would suggest you consider the most powerful symbols that keep recurring in your dreams. I would recommend you look at your dreams symbolically, since they are likely things that you associate certain behaviors or traits with. I would ask what YOU think each of these symbols mean. The most important thing for you to ask yourself is what these symbols mean to you.

For example, what do you think a lion vs. a caged lion represents? Why do you think the snake didn't get you, or do you think it may get you some other time? Why did you want to wake up when you were floating upward?

Dreams are specific to the individual dreamer, and can really only be interpreted by the person who had them.

flying can be a sign of independence and expressing one's potential, it can also symbolize the ability to solve life's problems. a lion can be a symbol for physical strength or temper and the cage may mean that you are trying to control these things. a snake trying to bite you can mean worries about your health or your emotions turned against you. the body lifting up or floating can mean the same as flying or that you are trying to get a different perspective on something. dream interpretation has been used in counseling and psychology for a long time. many people feel that your dreams are you unconscious mind trying to make thoughts and feeling conscious so that you can deal with them in real life.
