I am 75, live in India, travelled around the world, happily married, for 40 years. I have 2 wonderful sonand daughter. Reasonably well off. Now relaxing on theinternet, kept diary for last 43 years, and looking forward to a productive , graceful, and useful ageing.

Seriously, you sound like someone who's content & is well on his way to a well deserved retirement as you should be after a life of serving God & leading a purposeful life, you should be so lucky. Be thankful for all your achievements & just enjoy the rest of your retirement.

The Good Life is the life with understanding. There are many wrong ideas about life. These ideas can produce a "fake" you that you think is the "real" you.
If you increase your understanding of life and throw away the wrong ideas you have, you will begin to live the Good Life and your fears will disappear. You will love more and you will be happier.
The way to increase your understanding is to be completely honest--first with yourself and then with everyone else. Always ask yourself, "Is this true?" or "Is this right?" and answer yourself with the truth.
If you honestly seek the truth, you will find it.

Good life is within you. It comes from contentment and happiness you develop and not from social standings. Make the best out of available and you have a good life

I guess your happiness is the way u had your life.At many times man cant see himself - everyone who sees you wil say, that you hve been a guide to yourself. many a time we can never see it oursleves - the way you enyoyed life is Good Life.
