One of my favorite Amercan movie is "To Kill a Mockingbird". Will anyone tell me what is kindlin' referred in the movie?

Kindlin' is "kindling" pronounced with a southern USA accent (we have many "accents" in a country so large).
"Kindling" is small sticks used to start a fire. Put some small sticks under the big sticks to get the big sticks on fire easier!
So..."bustin' up a chifferobe to make kindlin" is smashing up a piece of wooden furniture no longer needed to make kindling wood for the cook stove or fireplace.
I love the movie, too. Let's all remember Boo Radley just might be the good guy!

Kindlin' is the wood to put on the fire.
To Kill A Mockingbird was a great movie, but the book was so much better!

Bustin' up the chiffarobe for kindlin, means breaking up a piece of furniture so the wood may be burned in a fire (kindling).
I love that movie too.

I think what you are referring to is the small bits of wood & twigs that mkes up the bed the logs for a fire are laid on. It make the fire easier to catch & burn. I have loved that book since I was a little girl. My brother &I used to curl up in the old tire & roll down the embankment all the time & laugh & howl crazily when it would finally flop over & we'd sickly drag ourselves out ot it.

"Kindlin" or more accurately, kindling, is wood that is used to start a fire. It is wood that is more easily lit and there fore kindles the fire, from which you get "kindling wood". Great book too, by the way.
