Well, I was born in Cebu City.

I attended elementary and secondary schools in Cebu City, Iloilo City and Dagupan City.

I went to the State University in Quezon City for my college degree.

I've been working and living in Makati City for so many years now.

And I've been to lots of places within the Philippines, like Boracay, Roxas City, Baguio City, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Bacolod City, Davao City, Dumaguete City, and lots more.

I consider myself an avid traveler. And I treat each place I visit as part of my "world home."

DAVAO CITY!!!!! Yes! That's right! I'm from Davao City!!! I was born here and I grew up here. :-D

Here in Davao City, we do not have storms nor typhoons. That's why we do not experience heavy or any major flooding here. Our earthquake experiences here are extremely moderate. No record of any intense earthquake devastation. It's in Davao City where the highest mountain is sitting - the Mt. Apo!!!!! She may be the highest but she's the quietest! She causes no major volcanic destruction nor any lahar-producing ash fall. We do not have landslides here even.

And we have two festivals celebrated here! The "Araw ng Dabaw" held in the month of March; and in the month of August, it is the "Kadayawan". You'll experience everything here during these festivities: dancing in the streets with ethnic tribes and modern Dabaweniyos to the tunes of ancient tribal music mixed with today's rhythm and beat, our fruits and food - the Durian, Suha, Davao Bananas, Manggosteen, Guavapples, Kinilaw, Lechon Baboy at Manok, Sinugba'ng Panga, and lots and lots more! Not to forget......our very own special Durian Ice Cream! Wheeeeeee!!!!!

Yes..........I am from Davao City. The Land of Promise in the South!

WOW DABAW!!!!!!!!!! :-D
