I really hope not. What the heck. I thought we were America. But we hear about Israel so much, I'm starting to wonder if it's not the 51st state or something. If this is true then that's a bunch of total garbage!!

Probably. Did you know a better USA allied? I really think that Israel have a better change to be and USA state than Puerto Rico. We still in the waiting list.

You are hearing much about Israel, because it is waging a war with Lebanon. And, why should US fight for Israel, when they are capable of waging a war themselves.

We are allied with Israel. If they ask for our assistance we are bound to go to their aid. If we do not we will be violating a pact with one of our closest friends. What do you think that would do for our country's standing if we refuse to uphold our word, and follow through on our obligations?

I doubt it. However, I'm sure if Israel really wanted it we would do it. After all, they are the master and we are the slave.

i don't think so. we are having trouble replacing the soldiers in iraq. so i don't see us any shape of sending troops, maybe weapons, but no troops.
