Well... the thing is. I applied this year and I got waitlisted, and I have put it out of my mind emotionally. An oppurtunity has come way, where one of my friends who got in doesn't want to go anymore, and he wants to give the spot to me. Except it isnt in his power to give me a spot, its up to the admissions commitee to decide. I am a smart kid, and have alot of friends, and I am into drama and acting. What should I do to increase my chances of his spot? Doe u think I have a chance!

You and your parents should write a letter to the Admission Department, stating that you understand a spot recently became available. You woud appreciate a chance to apply for that spot. You may have a chance if you contact them immediately.
