I must admit there are times when questions like this particular one gives me pause, or even shock. I believe this would make a lot of those Utah Mormons happy. There are probably thousands of them hiding in the closet.

I don't know if it should actually be "legal" or not, but I see no reason why it' needs to be illegal. By the same token it shouldn't be illegal if a woman wants to have more than one husband. However, for the LIFE of me I can't figure out why either of them would. Think abut it: two wives would equal 2 diamond rings, 2 extra cars, 2 fur coats, 2 sets of credit cards, etc. Two husbands would equal two sets of underwear to wash, two husbands to clean up after and cook supper for, etc.
Most people in modern western society are too independent and "me-first" for that to work.

Depends upon the religion u r. Muslims are allowed to keep more than one, HIndus can keep only one, so on and so forth. There are different Laws for different parts of the world. We have IPC, Muslims have muslim law, Cristians have some other law. So first decide which law applies in your case. So for humanity is concerned, u cant remain happy with two legal wives.

It is legal all over the globe. There are a lot countries in which it is legal for a man to have more than one wife at a time.

And yes, it should be legal in USA also...hehehe.

Sure, I believe marriage shouldn't be defined by any government, but by the parties involved. But I think it should be legal ONLY IF a woman can also have several husbands.

i think it should. if everyone in the relationship is consenting and that is what they all agree upon i don't see why it shouldn't be legal. it's no one's business what goes on behind closed doors.
