Don't worry, pretty soon all the jungles and deserts will go condo.
Seriously, we have some friends who went to Papau New Guinea a couple months ago. They said it is so remote, so isolated and scary, that no one wants to go there. Some of the primitive tribes can only be reached by a small plane, a long walk, and then a longer raft ride on a snake-infested river. The people who live there are happy because it's all they know. They don't have a television to show them what else is out there.

I agree that primitive tribes nonetheless exist in some places like south Africa and Malaysia, besides the undeniable fact that it is extremely complicated to assert that they are blind to cutting-part technologies in spite of everything they are people!

They're not exactly primitive. They wish to live the way that their ancestors did because they feel it is a more pure way of living life. They want to preserve their culture so that it does not dissapear over time. By doing this they preserve their culture for future generations. Hope that helps.

I would say it depends on your definition of primative. I admit I enjoy running water and indoor toliet facilities as well as air conditioning when it gets too hot. But I would be willing to try doing without these things and I could just as easily move north to escape extreme heat. Other than these three main things I just mentioned "modern" society is not farther advanced than these so called "primative tribes". In fact I would go so far as to say that they are ahead of us. It seems that for every "modern" advance we make we sacrifice a great deal. For instance we invent currency and all of a sudden one type of resource is more valuable to us than another and now you have class divisions. Soon wars begin to develop over unnecessary things like gold or silver or in more recent history: oil. This of course leads us to try and invent new ways of killing each other in greater numbers. Every new war we have seems to have fancier technologies and seems to have greater losses. We develop the industrial revolution and all of a sudden profits are more important than employees. This leads to employers refusing to pay a reasonable wage and then intimidating governments into inaction by threatening to lay off workers if they are forced to pay a higher minimum wage. Most of these so called "primative" tribes still realize the basics of community spirit. Where no one is more important than another and where government is limited to a basic chief or medicine man who simply settles disputes within his tribe.

"Its is their way of life and they are happy so leave them alone. "
Hmm I say we must create problems in their life where none exist in the first place, then we solve one problem and show us off as the saviours who can solve all problems, if they only listen to us while we tell them what to do. We create small divisions among them and we play one against the other then we make sure we control the media reports so we say who won. Its not our job to fight, but to supply and test our weapons so nobody dare touch us.
We inflict life-threatening damage on one of the parties then we tell them we are sorry and compensation is on the way, this way we keep them on their toes while they keep us asking for compensation their mind cant think of anything that they would normally do. They slip further and further back from the modern world. Then we blame them that we are superior to them, and they must emulate us for salvation. There are more, I just cant remember...

The fact that there are is surprising. I'd have thought that by now some busy-bodying do-gooder would have poked his nose in with the promise of the good life but in the process killing half of them off with "modern" diseases.

Somehow, these people have been left out of evolving society. The question is why and how? I don't know. Whether it be because of their own unwillingness to join the modern world of noise, destruction, and pollution, or just by mere geographical chance.. It'll be your guess and mine equally.
