My favorites are many including: History channel, Discovery & Discovery Health---they are 2 separate channels. Also, I love watching the national geographic, court tv, animal planet and lifetime movie network.
I also love game shows.

Science Channel, FOX, FOX News, CBS (I love 2-1/2 Men!), E!, Discovery, National Geographic, ABC Family, IFC (they used to have great and different movies but they're becoming quite commercial), Travel and TBS.

I spend most of the time watching the Science Channel and BBC America.
But I also like the other science type channels like DIscovery, TLC Discovery Health etc.
Lately, I am also watching more Spike TV, I am ashamed to admit. LOL

Non fiction cable channels most of them. Except fox and religious or low budget ones.
Discovery both, National geographic, Court TV, A&E, CNN both, Style, HGTV, History, MTV, E!, and others, basically cable, but Public TV on regular network has good stuff too. Anything with non fiction is for me, but I lack patietience for some low budget unless it is well done.

I live n Iran and unfortunately I can't watch discovery channel but I've
heard from some friends of mine that thats a really fantastc channel.but among channels Irecieve i consider CNN as the best channel.

Love the History Channel, Discovery, and Nat'l geographic too!!! some other of my fav's are TLC, Food Network and HGTV! You combine mine and yours....you can never be bored! Oh I watch court tv and animal plant too...but the only thing i don't like watching on the animal plant is about abused animals and stuff like that...i have to turn it off because it makes me sooo upset.

i like channel 13. channel 8 has some good shows as well, but 13 is my favorite.
