What are your opinions on drug testing?

I work in a refinery plant in wich constant drug testing and alchohol breathalizers are done and i totally agree with it to an extent. I feel that if you havn't smoked pot or done drugs within the past 24 hours you should be considered okay to work, they do this with alchohol and it impairs you worse than pot. I feel it is wrong to drug test as far back as urine will let them see. I say a law should be put in act against drug testing unless you have done it within 24 hours or am i just missing weed too much. I miss my weed.

I am 100% pro drug testing. Why? Because that means more jobs for me. Drug testing eliminates a lot of losers that I don’t want to work with.

I agree with you. However there is no reason you can't smoke your weed and still pass a drug test. we do it all the time. Vinagar is wonderful just sip it a couple of times a day before the test. I have smoked on the way to the test and passed.

I agree- Honestly, its just not right. I have no issues with breathalyzer tests, and stuff, and for people who operate machinery, thats important.

I dunno. I guess its up to the business owner, though. They dont want to lose their money, and they have the right to do drug testing to help mantain a safe working atmosphere, and protect their assets.

I think Marijuana should be legalized, though. I think that there should be some kind of skin test or something to determine whether a person is high, also.

sounds like you're missing weed. i agree with drug testing in your situation. i imagine you probably work with a lot of heavy machinery where people could get injured, maimed, or killed. the company is probably drug testing in response to someone who was under the influence and was injured, maimed, or killed on the job.

should be tested every week on random check [not tell people when they are going to do it] if you are clean then why would worry about it period
