I have recently stumbled upon a business oppurtunity, with a company called prepaid legal. My question to all of you is, have you ever heard of them, or perhaps personally know someone who is an associate? It seems like a good investment, im just nervous, there is so many people around today that love a good scam. Please let me know of any success stories you have heard or maybe even experienced with this company. Your answers will prove most helpful, thank you.

So far she is making money. But i have not joined. I don't know seems odd.Let me know what you found out.PS she has had to use the service a couple times and did get results in her favor, some dead beat owed her money. And she got it! Thanks

I asked a similar question about prepaid legal awhile back. I decided to not purchase the product nor sell the plan. My reasoning came through loads of online research. The sales associate that I was contacted by was also involved in MLM (multi level marketing) and his name was all over the place with many scam like atmospheres.
I would also encourage you to stay away from the associates personal websites that look like prepaid legal. The associate that I talked to added in some extra benefits (that were free anyway). There was also a disparity on like sounding companies that pedaled the identity theft product...turns out the one he directed me to was a small outfit with a bad BBB rating.
Prepaid legal may be a fit for you, its a neat concept. bottom line is that I did not like the scam feel it gave me. I researched alot to finally determine that, I encourage you to do the same.

If its what I think it is....DONT BOTHER. From what I remember pre-paid legal is a serivce that charges a monthly fee and you can call and "talk" to a lawyer about certain issues.
Honestly....who needs a lawyer that much????? ANd if somebody does then they will be sombody that can afford a good lawyer and not one that charges a monthly fee for questions.
Would you pay $30-$50 a month just to be able to ask someone a question? Thats what Yahoo answers is for....hehehehhe.
If Im wrong about what you are asking then please disregard this answer...but if I'm bang on then stay the hell away, and stop going to seminars held in local hotel conference rooms just to get the free donuts and freshly squeezed orange juice.
By a time share instead.

No it is not a scam. you may truly verify them out on the greater advantageous corporation bureau, they are there and a member. you may desire to do examine/. examine it. prepaid legal has been in fortune mag, money mag, etc. There are greater factors of the corporation than merely recruiting. that's all ignorant human beings see. that's a solid corporation and the founder truly cares approximately each and all of the chums and workers. I advise, he truly seems after them. in case you're questioning the corporation look in solid components, no longer from people who in basic terms have critiques on yahoo solutions.

I had a friend who was getting into the prepaid legal thing. However, he was a bf and after we broke up I quit keeping tabs on him. I do know however, that he gave up on that and decided on law school instead.

I used to pay for their service, about 2 years ago. They are not useful for major things (bankruptcy, divorce, etc), but they are legitimate and great for quick advice or helping make a will. I had a good experience with them.

they have been around for years but to sell it is useless unless you have a MLM already in place
