OF course there should be a cease fire , we should save human lives , human lives are priceless,, their value is so important,, the more we keep silent about this war the more lives would be taken, and those who want it to continue they dont relate to humanity and have no CONSCIENCE towards people sufferings.
Negotiations and pressure from International community should follow a cease fire ,,, the possibilities to find solutions without wars are the ones that work more than the ones following violence.,
For those who think There would be a winner from a war let them not rejoice for there would never be a winner, using violence will backfire on them , we have seen the example of Iraq: did democracy sent with missiles work? I dont think so and peace asked from the savage and barbaric punishment of a whole country would never work

There should not be a cease fire until Hezbollah is no longer a threat. The problem with a cease fire is that it will simply give Hezbollah more time to regroup and import more weapons from Iran/Syria.

Then, we'll be seeing the same thing a few weeks/months/years from now.

If Hezbollah cared anything for the Lebanese civilians, they should negotiate a temporary cease fire in order to transport the civilians into a "safe area".

However, this is just wishful thinking. Hezbollah purposely hides its weapons in civilian areas and eats and sleeps with women and children in order to protect itself.

They do this so if Israel attacks, it will make Israel look bad because civilians are killed and Hezbollah wins the propaganda war.

In other words... Hezbollah is counting on Israel killing as many civillians as possible. They welcome it. They want it to happen. Why else would they be hiding amongst them? Why else would they be using them as human shields?

Israel's goal of destroying Hezbollah is impractical. Hezbollah fighters are a part of the native population. That would be like a country attacking the U.S with the goal of wiping out all National Guard reservists.

Israel is flexing its muscle because it is pissed off. They should trade for the two soldiers and call it quits. The way to eliminate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization is to make them more unpopular in Lebanon than Israel is. Killing a buncha civilians in the process of destroying a few sets of rockets is not the way to do this. Some response (to the kidnapping of the soldiers) was called for, but this went too far.

Honestly, this has been going on for a long time, the Israelis always giving in to world pressure to back off of a fight they have never asked for, always been the one who gives in and brings more to the table. Hezbollah and Hamas always want more and ultimately they want the destruction of Israel. The only answer for this crisis is war. This will widen and the US will get involved because we should. Israel is fighting our war but politics as they are right now have our hands tied.

We cannot stand by and have countries with nuclear weapons (Iran) saying death to Israel and the US promising our demise.

There should be a ceasefire ordered and a huge UN force put along the borders around Israel with permission to shoot to kill any people trying to break the ceasefire. But that's not going to happen as the UN is about as worthless as can be.

As soon as Hezbollah and Hamas are dismantled and the Muslim nations accept Israel's right to exist. Israel, on the other hand, must recognize the Palestinians rights and give them free access to live and work in Israel.
