Personally, if someone is honest about their question, they should be allowed to ask it. I mean, even if it sounds hateful--We can help others work through their hate by an honest reply to their question. Censorship has a place, I guess, but I have seen it overdone on here.
For instance, one time a guy on here asked "Why do white people smell like wet dog, when they get wet? Seriously, is it chemical or what?" When I read is question, I was intrigued. I mean, I'm white and I had never heard, but had always wondered if we had a smell. So, I responded to his question and actually thanked him for asking the question because it made me want to research to find out if others had noticed that and why? But when I hit submit -- it said his question had been removed. I thought the guy was just curious and being honest, and I thought GEEZ...come on....

I think that Yahoo is a card carryin liberal leftist piece of you know what! You can't even use fag on Literati, as of just a couple weeks ago. It's stupid and sissified to give credence to the left and gay (YOU GUYS MESSED UP A GOOD WORD THERE!) and try to change a good America to a freakin antidisestablishmentarianism! HAH! See those little ***'s? See what I mean? I merely used the word for 'happy' and we can't even do that !

My, better pull in your horns for a while Skerry. For some on who dishes out a continuous screed against everyone who disagrees with you I don't see what you have to complain about.
so you got censored, lucky you didn't get booted for good.
You forget that Yahoo is a privately owned company and you signed an agreement with them to participate in Answers. They don't owe you squat.
There are also guidelines and if you choose to ignore them, its your own fault.
As for other people not getting nabbed, its only a matter of time. Even cops can't nab everyone who runs a red light. Get over yourself and quit whining. One of your lines, I think.

We can only hope that you will continue to consider the rules of a privately owned site to be "censorship" and leave - thus allowing intelligent beings (like, oh I don't know - field mice, which would be smarter than you) to debate politics without the interruptions of morons.

It sucks, but private company, private rules. If they are getting federal funding, then they should have to have full on non-censorship. But as far as I know it's not a government funded company on any level.

Both "sides" want to censor everyone. The neo-cons want to censor anyone who dares criticize the Savior of America (TM), Bush. The liberals want to make sure your speech is politically correct.
(No, I'm not a liberal. I'm conservative, not Bushbot neo-con.)
