Because they often think that all that makeup is natural! My daughter had a friend who would take 2 hours (honest to God) making herself up each day. During the day she would slather on more.
As women we could see the makeup caked on. Her boyfriend/fiancee however thinks she is just a really natural woman. She gets up before him to makeup. Boy is he going to be in for a shock one day!

Okay, it's a funny post. It seems like a woman can only:
1. Have lots of make up
2. Almost none.
And be consistent with that choice. Since when women are consistent?
I think that it depends what you define as lots and when. I like the many facets of women. I do mountain biking, and I find it sexy to find girls covered in dust, but that they also know how to dress and makeup for a special night or event.
I really have no idea on make up. What does this and what does that, and how to mix this and that powder. But I think that different women have different looks. For some women, make up really lifts them, while for some other, natural looks better. Also on where. Now, a heavily make up girl in a mountain would look... spooky, I think. And unconfortable! All those lipstic, powders and creams runny with sweat! eeewwk!

comming from a guy, I know guys are stupid. Most of the time we say one thing and do another.Guys say they like natural looks because this makes us think we will have little to do or little to spend (later on) on the appearance for our women. Usually, those prissy girls with lots of makeup end up being high maintenance and that is what every guys says they don't want but at the same time is curious as to what is so special. I've seriously dated both types and I personally like the natural one more because we enjoyed out time more. I love mountain bikiing and doing outdoor stuff as opposed to going clubbing or city stuff so the natural look would have more fun with me because of the activities we would do.

Some guys may do as you say. But I don't and my wife almost never wears makeup. I love her or her. Not her face or her makeup. Every part of her is beautiful to me. And as for being a dumb guy who don't know what he wants, well I married the most wonderful woman in the world and she feels just as happy as me. It's not about me or her, but about us as a couple.

I have never gone for girls that wear a lot of make up. I want a woman that will be beautiful in the morning too. Point is, you can't buy beauty.

they probably think it sounds more appealing but sometimes it's probably not (well not in their eyes). Girls usually wear makeup to cover stuff they don't wasn't anyone to see.Guys can say that all they want but they probably prefer makeup and don't realize it and they just think they prefer natural.

Your just hiding yourself, even though I'm a girl but I understand that guys like a girl who's natural. Because your just covering up yourself with make-up. If you were truely beautiful you wouldn't

i dk. when people wear lots of makeup they look like a whore. and when you just wear the basics like a little mascara, some blush, and some lip gloss you look more innocent and cleaner so a lot of guys like that type. not the ones who wear orange eye shadow and red lip stick! lol
