Do you, like myself, despise the show "Desperate Housewives" because it is just so fake and stupid?
Also, the same question on Soap Operas, do you stay clear of them bec they are just too fake?

I refuse to watch "Desperate Housewives" because what I've read of it seemed very unreal.
I gave up on soap operas years ago. Every once in a while I'll catch 5 or 10 minutes here or there and it's not on purpose...or, I'll think about something that had happened years ago and wonder how that particular storyline ended. But, they're not too creative on there anymore and I have kids anyway who don't need to be subjected to that stuff. I don't miss it.

I love Desperate housewives. Its entertaining and funny. Soap operas are not. I quit watching the daytime soaps about 1990. I had watched them since high school which was in the 60's. Desperate Housewives is so much better!

i really enjoyed desperate housewives and i missed a few episodes and tried watching it again and all this weird stuff was going on and it seemed like they just went a little too far to the soap opera style. when it first started i didn't think it was stupid and fake but i guess they ran out of things to write about

Its the fantasy of some guy who wishes his wife had the guts that those ladies have. I only watch so I don't forget to turn the channel for Grey's Anatomy

I watched DH the first year, now it's pretty unbearable.
no soaps for me either, the music and "fade to blacks" are a bit much.

THEY R FAKE N E'BODY KNOWS IT , THATS Y THEY R TELECASTING THESE THINGS PPL WANT SOME FANTASY TO GET ENTERTAINMENT.
