I think this has happened to me and I feel teriable or is it my mind playing tricks on me

Well, if you were close to this person and you have already forgotten this person it may be because a couple reasons. A) you're experiencing early onset alheimerz or something (unlikely unless you're older) 2) You would have associated this person with a horrible or painful memory and have blocked it out. 3) This person is crazy and you were never involved with them at all 4) you had some head trauma, or accident that caused a loss of some of your recent memories. If you think its serious, and you had a strong relationship with this person consider visiting a physician to run a series of test that could help you diagnose the problem.

Could be a brain malfunction. Or the onset of Alzheimer's. You might want to get the old noggin' checked out at the local clinic.

yes - it is possible - I didn't recognize a friend of mine I knew form junior high school when i saw her after college - but people especially woman change a lot - hair color / style clothing tastes - well, if you feel that bad maybe you could call the person you think you saw

Yes it is very possible people can do things to alter there apearance i once had a beard and when i shaved it people didn't recognise me the next day yes it is possible

Yes, it is possible. Once I did not recognise a girlfriend with whom at that time I was living!! Can you believe that? I couldn't, but she had this incredible knack of changing her appearance, that really made me stop and think.

Well, of course! Its happeed to me ^_^ Its just...things chang, sometimes alot. it can be hard to recognize a person if they get glasses and change their hair all around, dont feel badly dood :p

I did not recognize my own brother after he put on a bunch of weight. He kept smiling at me and I would smile back (at a family wedding), but I had no idea it was him!

Yes. Especially if they have been feeding on pepsi and cheetoes and have put on about 50 or 100 pounds. You might just walk ritght by them. (I have done this.)

I have mistaken a person for someone I know, and I have also not recognized family members.
