Yeah hun...we all like Myspace...but damn...the servers are down cuz of some big power outage...just chill out....wait an hour or so...and it will be back up in no time...till then...just do like me and answer as many Q's as possible lol...

It seems like every other day, myspace is down. Undergoing maintanance. It happens when someone leaves myspace, or is added, or makes drastic changes. That is why there is alot of downtime, now. Besides, Tom likes to reveiw as many profile's as he can, just to make sure that there isn't anything FAR TOO
wrong going on, like threats or something.
Its really a simple reason though. Myspace is too large of a community for the service engines required. Tom didn't fully realize the impact he'd have, when he started mypsace.

The site has allot of security flaws and is constantly being attacked by hackers. Allot of Mal-ware and computer viruses are spread from profile to profile and eventually your computer. That is the reason that it is always undergoing maintenance. You really need to relax and realize it is just a web page. Yes I know you feel anxious to see who left you a new comment, message or friend request. Or even to check how well a video you updated is doing. There is so much more to life than just that website. Enjoy life while you can because once you get into your 20s you will see life starting to fly by and you wish you had more time to do the things you used to be able to and the things you wish you could do, but no longer have the time for.

It was a great MySpace, always cheering people up when they were down, and always being a faithful connection between teenage girls and pedophiles, and it will be missed. And as we say goodbye to our loved friend, we will always remember the good times. The songs, the chats, the laughter.

OMG first off stop yelling. Second if you're that addicted to myspace, you need to get a life. They have been having server issues for two weeks now. They are trying to fix it, but there is going to be down time. As for when it's coming back up, sorry, there's no time frame.

relax. A big network like that has lots of routine maintenance that needs to be performed so it keeps running smooth for us. Also there server was affected by the power outage in L.A. a few days ago and I think that also has something to do with it! I feel your pain and hope that we can enjoy myspace again soon!

There are a lot of hacks for myspace because the code is so archaic and simple - so lots of people use it to hack. They're trying to get rid of that programming, thus the reason for the request to upgrade your flash player - most of myspace is on some form of swf. code.
