He only has Sundays off and he gets off "early" on Wednesdays every now and then. He has worked like this for 5 years now why cant i get use to it I miss him and we argue about it . I know he is working for his family but I would love to spend more time together as a FAMILY

aww that is too bad. I use to work at a dealership and my GSM was there all the time as well. Maybe he can work something out with the other managers and get a sat off in the beginning of the month when it is slow. He should def get vacation time as well where is should be a family one. Even though its a hard time just enjoy you have together and give him his alone time as well. Maybe u can try to plan fun family events on his day off that don't take up the whole day. Alone time is important for an individual as well just remember that. Good Luck!

If you realise that he is doing for his family then you get involved in some other activities like chatting on net, reading books or maybe some hobbies. This will divert your attention and you will miss him less. in the meantime convince him to take a small break every month to give time to you.

Hi there, my husband is in the navy and has spent so much time away from myself and our two girls, I miss him and we argue about it and sometimes think I cant go on like this, but I do... for me I guess the only way to make time go quick is to keep busy and surround myself with great happy go lucky people..

Be glad he is not a soldier and is in some fleabag mid-eastern country with a bunch of rifles going off. That would be worse.

he really needs to hear you out and understand that you need his companionship. maybe you can get parttime job, cheeper house, but if he wants to keep his wife he needs to shorten his hours

Threaten to leave him. Maybe you'll get him back.
