Thanks for answering my question about teaching in Oregon and viewing my answer about SoCal. -In reference to that, I moved here three year ago from NY state. My sisters were here and bewitched me with stories of cities paved in gold; anyways, soon after reaching the west coast, I was overwhelmed, in culture shock, and money was flying out of my pocket.
Yes, I have been frantically researching other states to relocate to and have become interested in Oregon. I lived in Ireland (as well as NY) and think I need a darker, wetter climate.
I have teaching credentials and have owned and operated my own businesses.-So I know I can survive anywhere: I just want to find a place where the cost of living doesn't consume you, the sun won't burn you with its ultra-violet rays, and is somewhat picturesque.
