You can be sure that it is...the great thing is though that I read the end of The Book and we win. The response about the cleric ruling by fear is not true...Jesus said that the evil one has come to rob steal and destroy and that fear is from the devil. Jesus came to bring us peace and through a relationship (not religion) with Christ we can KNOW that we have a place with God the Father for eternity. The Bible is FULL of prophesies that tell what the signs of the time will be and says that we will know the 'season' but not the 'hour' and this is the season. All the landmarks for Christ to return have been passed so it is just a matter of time until we will get to see Him again...one of the main prophesies was that Israel would once again become a nation after being scattered throughout the world and in 1948 that came to pass. Feel free to e-mail me if there is anything that I can share with you so you can know that you do not have to be scared. Seriously!!

There is no evidence that the world will end within the next five billion years.
No evidence.
American supremacy as a superpower is unlikely to last 25 years. Christianity will probably peter out within 150 years. A big meteor will probably hit the earth within 160 million years. None of these things will end the world.
The "end of the world" is a powertrip by clergy who think they can manage by fear. I'm not afraid of their horoscopes. You shouldn't be, either.

Well if you read in the Bible there are many signs that are mentioned that point to the end times that are happening today. I believe the end is near, but noone knows for sure how much longer we have here. Jesus said No one wil know!

yes, someday. But it says in the Bible that no one will know when that will be. why? God says that he wants everyone to live everyday in a righteous way and be prepared for the second coming. If everyone knew what day he was coming, they would be sinners to the end, and that is not what God wants. We should live everyday in righteousness, that way we will always be ready for his coming!

Nope, but I think you can count on some new borders for old nations and maybe even some old countries going "bye-bye" with new ones popping up in their place.

Um, yeah. Make sure to have all your affairs in order by next Monday. And don't forget to wear clean underwear.
