If I would dowload something from The Sims 2 website(the exchange) how would I put it on the game? Does it do it automatically or do I have to do something? And if I donwload a sim with a different hairstyle can I use the hairstyle on other sims?

when you download something off of the official sim website, you have to pay attention carefully to what your installing. For the Sims 2 there are many additional games such as: The Sims University, The Sims Open For Business, The Sims nightlife, etc. For example: If you have Nightlife, but not University, you cant download something that works for University, only for Nightlife. When you download them, they will save to your computer and all you have to do is click on them and they will install by themselves. Its really easy and really fast. Once you install them, you can delete them also. Hope this helps! Email me if you have any more questions!

Our first Sims two was once a kit which got here with Sims two, Nightlife and BonVoyage --- manner less expensive as a kit set then purchasing the three individually. Sims two is a amusing and addictive recreation!

Like Jaime said. And yes, once you get the hair (if the mesh is included/usually) you can use it on your other sims. It will be marked with an asterisk for *custom content.
If you download houses... be careful!! Some may have hacks. If they have a little triangle with a ! mark on the description, you will need to double check the 'asterisk' tab on the description. If there are hacked "objects" in house, you may download a hack that screws up your game. New objects like tiles with flowers on them for example are safe. Only download the ones that have the same number of games installed as you do.
