The Ural Mountains in Russia form the border between Europe and Asia, and I can't remember what the reasoning geographers use to make this the dividing line.

That is a very good example of human ignorance with regards to race. Europe and Asia are not two separate continents, as you said they are one land mass. However history dictates that we teach it as 2 separate continents, only because of the racial differences.

certainly some cases the continents are referred to as Eurasia. or maybe because of fact that in accordance to Wickipedia Africa-Eurasia, would desire to be one, yet ever because of fact the Suez Canal, it rathe disconnected. And North and South united states of america, are from time to time refered to as only the Americas. Why then can we seperate, because of such a number of distinctive nationalites. In Europe, 0.5 are not Asians and 0.5 Europeans. that's seperate.

the boundary is russia, turkey, syria, lebanon, israel, saudi arabia, and yemen. each of those countries are considered part of asia. everything west of that is europe or africa.
