This is an interesting question. It depends on what you want to become popular for. Is it doing the right thing? Or the wrong? Is it because you desire more friends? Having many friends is not as good as having 1 or 2 really good friends. Try being yourself. If your still in school....try not to put such a high priority on what others think of you. Many of us struggled with this through our school years but after High School is finished you'd be surprised how few of the people you know really keep in touch. If your out of school then you should try doing some community service projects. It will really help those in need and it will build your self confidence for the right reasons.

Depends how you want to be popular, do you want to have people who follow you around, or do you want to have close friends who you relax with, and can trust your secrets with. Do you want the eyes of the whole school on you? To be loved and then at the slightest 'wrong' doing be hated? In my opinion you should be yourself, if you become popular then don't give up your good friends but don't ignore the chances of new ones. The people who were with you when you weren't popular where friends because they weren't being friends with you because you were popular.

Having lots of AR points in school. All the kids go wild for my autograph!
What can make me more famous (though I don't want get anymore well known outside the city I live in) is putting my talent to very good use, being rich, being courteus, having good neighbors, and such.
