I'm 16 and I have been wanting a nose stud for a while now and I'm thinking about getting one this summer. Not to look like a rebel or anything but just because I have always liked the way they look- just a very small stud- I think it would suit my face. Can these be seen as cute or just always disgusting? I don't want to be judged negatively.
For people who have had/have nose rings: Are there any regrets,infections, or bad experiences? What do they look like out- is there bad scarring? Can they heal completely if you change you mind?

Three years ago, I got my nose pierced. I am an elementary school teacher, and I thought it was a really cute thing. It hurt to get it done, but I had a tiny little rhinestone stud, and I thought it was cute. My principal did not appreciate this , however, and I was asked to take it out. They sell a flat thing you can put in your nose to keep the hole open and then cover it with make up (to "hide" your piercing), but I never got the hang of how to wear it. I had to take it out. It healed beautifully, and you would never know it had been pierced. Best wishes on your decision.

Theres no scarring and there are no bad infections. Nose Studs are awesome. Make sure to get it on the Left side of the nose. Not the Right

i knew a girl that had a tiny gemstone one and it was cute. looked like a sparkly zit. she didnt seem to have any infections but how do you blow your nose with that spike in it? ouch. the hole is tiny and im sure it would heal up if you dont like it and the scar wouldnt be a big deal, it doesnt scar there any more than your earlobes

I've had mine for 5 years and love it! It doen't look trashy. I'm a mother of two and I do bridal makeup artistry so I have to look conservative most of the time. It didn't hurt much and I've never had an infection.

I have had my nose pierced for a while now, and I regret nothing. It's really fast, you barely feel a pinch. Nose piercings are so mainstream now, they aren't really considered "rebellious" anymore.

Nose studs aren't my thing and I would never get one, but if you want one, go for it.

i think a nose stud can look cute. it just depends if it'll look right on you. on some people, it totally goes. on others, it looks like they forcing on a look...iono, it depends if u think it look good on you

Personally I think they look like crap. If you want to look like a skank get the nose and lip and eyebrow pierced.
