Depends on how much you want to spend and what you are going to use it for? The military uses a @#$%load of Dell Computers. I've had good luck with them over the years. Presently I'm using a Gateway to write this. The Gateway has been very reliable for me. As far as run of the mill PC's, either Gateway, HP or Dell. There are better ones but you will pay more.

There is no best as computer builders buy the cheapest parts they can find and that varies all the time
